How to get Topaz?

Orange rock mining located in glacial area, usually i find 2 topaz spots, 1 ruby, 1 green poison, 1 ice one over the main area and the side tunnels

How do you mine it? I have the diving knife upgrade but it still says that the level isn't high enough to mine topaz, and I can never find a pick in the glacial area. :/ Is this a bug or am I missing something?

You can find picks in both the glacial area and the deep sea area, but if you fully upgraded your Diving Knife it should be able to mine it. (Only upgrading it once will only allow you to mine the Deep Sea stuff) If you have a different melee weapon equipped, some cannot mine it so go into your inventory, select the melee weapon and Discard it. The Mjolnor can mine as well.

u mean ruby right ? if ruby then u can find it by going left deep at glacial area

you need to complete the second part of three on the control room to gain access to the lowest depths of the glacial area

Only the max upgraded diving knife can mine topaz.
