how do i get 3 star of any crab?

the only way to get them for now is dropping rocks. is there any other way to capture them?

I’m not sure if it will work but try using the nets you can buy from the store to catch them. I think that should work.

The level 4 net gun works as well

I can confirm the Sensor Net and Trigger Net consumable don't work on Crabs or other things you need to drop Rocks on or hit with a Shovel.

Haven't tested the Steel Net consumable you can buy from Cobra sometimes, but if the Tier 4 Net Gun (Steel Net Gun) works on them then one can assume the Steel Net consumable will as well.

can you get Roe from crabs? i used nets to get the 3 stars on crabs and that one fish but i havent seen any roe, i want to know to ignore ir or farm it for the fish farm

you can use steel net to catch them. the last upgrade from net gun weapon branch. or if you lucky, you can buy it from cobra shop "trigger steel net".

no you can't. there is no update about the crab roe. or the stragazing fish that hide in the sand.

No roe from crabs? That's awful. Crabs are pretty far from any good farming ground. I hate going for them, and yes, the Steel Net Gun will capture them. I wish you could buy a crab pot or something instead, it's one of the weaker areas of the game that you need an end-game weapon to farm a mid-area game creature, and no roe? Ugh.

maybe in a future update or dlc they might add it hopefully

yea hope so. new dlc or new area to explore, there is 2 locked spaces in fish farm.

I'm still working on getting the ingredients but I read in another thread the fully upgraded net gun (lvl4+) can capture crabs and stargazers.
