What to sell and not sell at Cobra shop

Personally I would not sell to the Cobra shop as you unlock a different shop later on in the game that you can sell the same materials to.

The difference is Cobra pays you in gold, whereas the other shops pays you in another currency.

Gold is easy to come by and you likely won't need to bolster your gold by sell things to him. The other currency is less easy to come by, and bolstering it by selling things to the other shop is a good idea to get better upgrades faster.
