You can relatively easily dodge his attacks by circling him and dodge boost, but I agree that for the bosses the 30% dash speed charm is in many cases a must, which is a problem. I basically never take that one off - this is a big balance issue.
Why shouldn't you have the dolphin charm equipped? Thats the best charm in the game. I use it all the time.
- After the enemy fires the launcher, a trajectory of the missile will apppear and to escape, quickly swim up or down. This should be enough to avoid the attack.
- The second attack of the boss are charges and expect one when lightnings appear over Watson's head.
- The boss always performs a few charges in a row. Swim away from him and wait for the combination to end.

Hope this helps, and we'll appreciate any feedback!
Not true. I haven't touched that since I started playing, I've had more success with octopus charm than dolphin charm. Since you need your HP, I'd rather not burn it faster while dashing and that's where the octopus charm comes in, free micro-dash that you can spam whenever.
Also, since you're slow AF, anticipating their movement is your best defense, oh and upgrading your air tank too.
For John and for other bosses. Scavange the bottom of the arena. I found a grenade launcher that really messed him up in between trying to learn to use the bat. Got it on 3rd try after practice how to hit him with those.
Also - for 80% of the fights I had a netgun with me and just used the harpoon to fight with OR whatever gun I found in the arena.
me too,I quit the game and when I restart it ,it did not enter the fight progress, I need to go back to find the key.
It really make me feel like want to uninstall it.
