shark boss 'Klaus'. Anyone success beating it?

Is anyone clear the boss 'Klaus'? I'm stuck in this shark boss stage. Just can't avoid enough. How to beat this boss?

What weapon are you using? I used the Basic Rifle III and didn't have too much issue with this one. Also I like using the charm that give you more speed. With sharks in general I usually use the dash to avoid the charge and then turn around and hit them a few times while it passes behind you.

I am stuck on it too, i have a rifle 3 but i'm just too slow to dodge as it combo" me to death

nvm, I just managed to beat it by spamming bullet when immune after a hit and some lucky dodges

I ended passing the fight. It was a real pain in the ass fight. Just moved on.

very annoying cheap fight, the hit box and quick turn for shark is way to much.....


you can cheese it by staying at bottom when shark try to " grab " at you, it goes slower and lunge at a angle you can randomly just avoid doing nothing . took about 10 tries i did it with the triple shot gun lvl 3 , the sniper does not have enough bullets and regular rifle works fine if lvl 3. shark has around 400 hp as it took about 8-10 shots at around 40 dmg a hit i did not have to do tornado as i was able kill him in less than 30 seconds with the cheese.


also when he hits you does around 80 air dmg so make sure you can take couple hits mit help too bring mini air tanks or a scooter to help speed swim i had nothing and needed to grab weapon game gives which is random and how i knew sniper was crap vs boss as i ran out bullets and stage gives max 4 containers i think i died before more spawned if they do,

Ok...did I miss the fact that you can upgrade weapons more now...or did you guys just get lucky with upgrade kits?

Cause I had to fight him with my sleep-upgraded rifle and didn't stand a chance when it was at lvl 2 (got an upgrade in the weapon chest while fighting him =)

Will go back later with another weapon or variant but that fight annoyed me too much so I've skipped it twice more since that first failed attempt =p

I tried riffle level1 and overwheited status. But eventually reload and use stun snifer to clear it. When first try, I thought 'Is this suddenly changed genre to darksoul?'... I want simulation for running shop and farm, not play something like darksoul in this game.

He was really tough, but I beat him on the third try. Just gotta memorize his patterns and use something with range. I kept trying the quad-gun, thinking more hits would be better, but that thing has like NO range on it. You had to get right up next to Klaus to hit him.

An upgraded rifle was what worked best for me. Okay range, solid damage, let me shoot him while not getting too close.

I used the Rifle Ver. II for the fight and went around the area looking for weapon and item chest before going in the vortex. Got lucky and found weapon upgrades so my Rifle was lvl 4 hitting for 70 with the 10% charm. Also had 2 refill canisters.

As others have said you can take the charm that give extra dash speed or if you have the canisters face tank a few hits so you can get the damage.

this boss i bulls...it there is no way to avoid damage i use 3x trap dealing 40x3 dammage then i hit it with lvl 3 rifle 7 times and nothing....

it took me 5 times try, total approximately damage need be done around 602-660
it took 3x traps (40 damage/each), 2x sniper rifle lvl 3 (54 damage/each) and 9-12 grenade launcher lvl 1 (36 damage/each)

Tips:
1. u can slow down a shark to bottom of the sea
2. bring long distance scooter for dodging
3. atleast u have air tank capacity 316 (u have 3 hit before dying)
4. u can change from trap to mini air tank
5. when a shark attack u can look carefully the last attack animation is going above u can dodging by spin around it using scooter
also to find a vortex is around 0-100 meters and on the right

I'm having trouble finding it, too. How deep is it supposed to be? The to-do list says stormy nights, so I assume I have to nightdive, at least.

EDIT: Finally found the vortex. For me, night time, depth of 21 along the far right edge.
