How to catch tuna?

I have only 1 day to catch tuna, and they seems so fast and cant be killed with gun(63) help

you can kill them with a gun, it just needs few shots bout 4-5

The nets you can buy from Cobra, harpoon with sleep on it (forgot the word), guns or just the bombs =)

My first Tuna I caught with a 3-damage Harpoon (I didn't realize that the harpoon upgrade wasn't the gun.....*sigh* ) took FOREVER ! =p

Is there a reliable way of getting the net mines though? It seems random whether he has them in his shop. I have the Tuna event coming in-game, and wound up just painstakingly taking the time to snipe/harpoon the schools one by one. Took forever.

I found tuna pretty impractical to fish throughout the whole game... Couldn't effectively get one without the steel net bomb, and that's only available through RNG *before* you're even in the water!

Wondering if maybe some of the higher level weapons would make things easier. That's a lot of grinding though for a fish type that's introduced pretty early.

They are worth getting in my opinion, especially when you can farm them.

so i had a steel net sold by cobra during the whole party/season. IF u have guns upgraded that works. but my fav method was WHILE diving, sometimes u fight a LIGHTNING head for the harpoon. i got 1, 3 different times during the season. it chains lightning between mobs and makes finishing them off simple. but the steel nets should get u 1-2 per trap and u can use drone to capture 1-2 live ones depending on ur upgrades. u should always be ACTIVELY working on the party food!!! and enhance the food as high as u can and still have around 10 serverings or more for the party night

I didn't have steel net gun. So instead I opted for the Gas Grenade launcher (I know that doesn't help a lot of people as they probably don't have that weapon). Mainly because it can put really large fish such as sharks to sleep, meaning good drone captures. Unfortunately with only 3 drones a day I had to reserve them all for Tuna.

Personally I used a Sleep Rifle, 8 shots at less than enough damage to kill most things worth putting to sleep, 40% chance any hit was a KO, decent odds in my book.

So the easiest way is of course the steelnets (the dark blue bomb that says that it can catch BIGGER and STRONGER fish) . Beside that, i find myself absolutly in love with the lightning harpoon cause i can kill a bunch of 4 tuna in like 8 hits in total for the whole group-that way i dont waste too mucht time and dont get hit much often. Good luck (and when u get 2eggs you wont have to stress about it ever again)
