Save and Quit while under water

There should be an option for this. I sometimes have to leave quickly while playing... AKA having an 8-month-old. It would be nice to save the game with the progress I made and not have to start the dive over again.

I agree 100%. How do you save the game anyway? I don't see an option.

You have to go into the settings from your phone, but it seems you can only access that while you are not underwater

There will be autosave underwater in late game you get an autosave when u enter sea people village. Then, you could just alt+f4 and load game

You can't. If you played dungeon roguelites before think of it this way, the blue hole is the dungeon.

You can quit but you can never save what you acquired before unless you complete the run or you die (in this case you only get to save 1 item).

If when underwater you need to leave press ESC.
It will pop up a menu that also pauses the game (no risk of drowning by running out of O2).
It's not a save, but it works for me

Easy mode: Play on switch, If you need to go just press the Energy Save button and pick up the switch when you´re ready to play again.
