Jade Pedestal/Mjolnir

I've completed all 7 chapters and are now playing the epilogue to try and complete all the research and achievements. The problem is that I just can't get the Jade Pedestal and Mjolnir to spawn. I've been to the places where they have a chance to spawn 50+ times. I was wondering if anyone have had them spawn after completeting chapter 7?

Bottom right hand area for the pedestal. Takes a while took me about 7 or 8 tries. The hammer is quite rare and i think it only spawns when there is thunderstorms.

I've been at the bottom right area 50+ times, no luck. That's why I'm interested to know if people had them spawn after they completed all chapters. Have you completed all chapters?

FWIW I've had Mjolnir spawn three times so far. Once it even spawned up in the ice passages to the northwest.

I hadn't thought of there being a relationship to stormy weather, but that's a serious consideration for you to check when the weather is stormy. If it helps, it's kinda neat but hardly a huge upgrade. You can only charge it and throw it laterally, no up or down angles. It will mine ore though so no need to swap back and forth between your upgraded knife. I did have fun in the shallows blasting groups of fish with it's lightning effect though that is worthless as a real tactic.

Cheers. I didn't think about the weather either. I'll keep an eye out for that. The only reason I want Mjolnir, is the achievement connected to it.

I should have added, I ignored most of the night missions that are related to storms, such as Klaus. Wanted to get better gear first. So I've had a lot of stormy weather. I probably had a full week of stormy weather at one point for sure. I'm becoming quite sure that's something to do with it.

I think its related to thunder storms. It is the hammer of the thunder god after all.

I can 100% confirm that Mjolnir can spawn on a sunny day. I just got it on my last dive when it was sunny. I've seen it spawn in two places, but there could be more spawns. The first is glacial passage 1 in that area where the wooden spikes try to hurt you. Just go backwards and they won't activate when you check for it. I've found Mjolnir there maybe three times I think. I've also found it just once on the left side of the glacial area, somewhere in that ice maze area, but not 100% sure of the exact location.

I've only ever seen the Jade pedestal in the third glacial passage, the one in the bottom right of the Hydrothermal Vents. That's where you have to work with Suwam to fix the water levels, but it's guaranteed to never spawn during that event, so many people don't think to go back there afterwards.

Jade pedestal should glow when it spawns. One can be hidden here behind the rocks, one can be below this spot in the pit with the starry skate, and the last is left of here along the skinny channel.

This is the third side passage in bottom right of map, thermal vents.

Mjolnir can spawn no matter the weather, you just gotta get lucky and keep diving and checking all the spots it can spawn at. I got it during Sunny weather, I can link you some screenshots if you want.

Finally got Mjolnir! Just like Rothgar I got it from the wooden spike room(lower part) Weather was rainy.

I finally got Mjolnir today from the little alcove where I found the Beluga during its first Glacial mission. There was a giant ice chunk, and I had to chip away at it to reveal the weapon.

It's always encased in ice every time you find it.

Also, has anyone ever found it twice in 1 dive? It happened to me once, even got a screenshot of it.

Thats a shame i liked the idea of it only spawning in thunderstorms.

There are two spawn points for the pedestal, the one you can find next to the stingray, but also if you go through the glacial passage door, (straight down on the right wall) - follow the bottom path which will go down and loop up, there will be an eel, but to the right there, kinda hidden is a jade pedestal also.
