Multiple save slots.

Please make them available. My family members want to start their new games.

There are already multiple save slots, but it's implemented very strangely. The first three save slots are for auto-saves, but the last two are for manual saves.

If you want to be able to create a new profile/start a new game without losing your previous progress, start up your current game, press 'esc' to go to the menu, scroll down to "save" and then be sure to select one of the last two save slots as the location for the save. Once you've done that, you can start a new game without losing your previous progress. Cheers.

Thanks for sharing that last slot can be manually used, the game doesn't support family sharing but at least we can use 2 slots with my gf.

I think they prefer a unique profile system, wherein each profile has their own save files, so there is no risk of accidentally replacing each other's save file. I at least want something like this.

there are 7 manual save positions and 3 autosaves, altogether 10 saves. 7 of them you have total control when you save - manually.
if you can maintain order in your saves - 3 for you 3 for someone else - you could manage with that..

I manually saved the game, exited out, but it doesn't let me start a new game. The Ok button doesn't work

As I recall the confirmation for a new game is a hold, not a press. Did you do a long press?

(also, next time consider making a new topic instead of necroing one from March that was last posted to in July)

Thanks thelefthorse for the tip. I couldn't manage to find the way to save my game so my daughter could create hers without overwriting mine.

I also think a "slot" style is more clear and simple for saving. Much harder to overwrite by "mistake".

This is an old post, but you have to hold the A button to start a new game. Implemented to prevent accidental overwriting a current game.
