I really love difficult games, but physical difficulty shouldn't be mandatory when a simple alternative exist. We're not talking about something difficult like making the game accessible to blind people.
I tested the game by... other means (actually didn't know it existed before that lol)... and really loved it, and plan to buy it once released, but the harpoon mashing forced me to create a macro wtf. And I have no issue on games like street fighter or other rapid input situations, I'm just not able to mash repeatedly that hard anymore.
APPROVE!
If we could have an option to disable those in favor of just holding a button or something, I think most people who play would appreciate it
Personally don't like any of em myself, the rapid repetitive actions are really hard on my hands, but if there was an option to fully disable them and one to change them to a button hold (or a small QTE?), I think that'd be fine for everyone involved.
Just some choices other than "Do it or suffer" basically
please no mashing
I'm 41 and I can't button-mash like I used to; it's physically painful now and hurts my joints/wrists. I could do this when I was in my 20s playing Battlefield 2... not anymore XD
I'd love to see a timing/single-click rhythm option, or an option to disable the button-mashing "minigames" altogether.
