Is there a reliable way to find the Stalagtite cave?

I've yet to find a way to reliably find the Stalagtite cave. I feel like I've searched for it so thouroghly many times but I've only found it maybe three times. What am I missing?

So what you're saying is that only certain layouts have the Stalactite Caves? Where is the connector for it? I thought it was sort of around the Tiger Shark, but I'm very unsure.

I think there are three maps Absolutely connected with stalactite cave. when you buy items from Cobra's shop.those three maps will show one of them with High probability.
one when you jump into the water you can see lots of pink coral.
one you can see lots of huge seaweeds
and the last one you can see some egg yolk jellyfish(?) on the left side of the screen

I will say if you happen to be looking for the Zebra seahorse it sometimes appears in the limestone cave too.
