Q. What platforms is it on?
Currently DAVE THE DIVER is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5.

Q. Can I play this game on Steam Deck?
Yes! DAVE THE DIVER is Steam Deck verified so you can bring Dave on the go!

Q. Is there a keybinding function available?
You can change the keybindings in your Settings (Title Page, Phone App, Pause menu)
*Gamepad updates may be available in a future update.

Q. What are the minimum system requirements to play the game?
You can find the minimum system requirements on our Steam store page. We will continue to update these values as we gather more information to provide the most accurate recommendations.

Q. What languages is it available in? Will additional languages be added for the full launch?
DAVE THE DIVER supports English, Korean, Japanese, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Portuguese, Italian and Russian.

Q. Is there any way to obtain a 3-star shark Marinca card?
As you progress through the story, you will be able to unlock a special feature to obtain large species.

Q. Will DAVE THE DIVER have microtransactions?
We do not have any plans to add microtransactions to DAVE THE DIVER.

Q. Can I play DAVE THE DIVER over 60FPS?
DAVE THE DIVER currently only supports up to 60 FPS.

Q. Does DAVE THE DIVER support Ultrawide resolution(21:9)?
DAVE THE DIVER currently does not support ultrawide ratios.

Q. I'm not sure what the "Best Taste" requirement is asking for on my Cooksta upgrade.
When enhancing your dishes, it's the second stat on the dish. (The one with the little smiley face.) It indicates how delicious a dish is.
If you sort your dishes by "Taste" you can see which dish has the highest taste, and compare it to the Cooksta upgrade requirement.

Q. The game is not recognizing my gamepad (controller).
From the Steam Library page for Dave the Diver, go to Settings ⚙️ > Properties > Change option from 'Use Default Settings' to 'Enable Steam Input' and please try again.

Q. Will the PS5 DualSense Haptic features be available for PC as well?​
Currently, PS5 DualSense Haptic features are not available for PC.

moeny bug when buying stuff, for example, if interior cost 50 gold it wants me to buy it for 300 gold. , no thats not right i think to myself, close the menu out and go back in , then its fixed. i wonder how many people its screwed over by now.
also happens on a regular basis

Hey, I can't seem to post a bug report on your website. I can't get your mail address and the inquiry screen does not work, so I can't submit anything, you might want to look into that. So instead I'll do it here.


My save game has been hard locked due to a bug. I cannot continue playing. Let me explain below.

There are two ''events'' that occur on the same day in my file, and this breaks the game. A few in-game days ago I failed the VIP VIncent's request because my evening shift wasn't perfect. Now, some days later, the game announced that I would get another chance, and the mission re-appeared on my to-do list.

This very same day I also got a call from Bancho that a ''noisy customer'' was at the sushi bar. When I went to the bar for the night I got the notification about Vincent, but there was no noisy customer. I cannot start the evening shift in the restaurant. There is no ''press E to open restaurant'' prompt anymore. Restarting the game doesn't work to solve this.

So to re-cap: Vincent's second chance notification popped up, there is no noisy customer to interact with, and I can't start my restaurant shift causing a hard lock.

cant seem to submit via the link up there, so;
Sound keeps resetting the setting i set it at. keeps blowing up my ears at boot, since i need the volume to be at like 8%.
Setting still says 8% but is actually 100% untill i move it an inch

Help, I have an issue during glowing tail eel boss fight. After the initial cutscene, the game simply does not proceed to the fight. Dave just floating, can't be controlled, with no UI.

Seems to be a bug with a cutscene for grabbing the anchor once you get the improved gloves. Every time I swim forward past the anchor and the current thing goes the researcher guy tells me to grab the anchor with right click an the game just stays frozen. Happens every time and has locked me from progression, just an fyi. Reporting on site as well.

EDIT: Nevermind, I cannot report on the site as my steam ID is not a numbered one cause of the url I use. So the above still stands as a report then

2nd Edit: So I was able to fix the issue. It seems if you swim above the anchor when caught in the current it will freeze up and not let you grab the anchor or if you do not go far enough forward. Going low and as far right as possible and not stopping gets you the full gust from the current to grab the anchor.

I still cannot play this game on my PC since the updates (previously 13 hours totally fine). My menu screen when the game loads is completely gone. I have the image but no menu options :steamsad:

I think the first special customer dish might be bugged; I definitely had more than 1 seagrape in my inventory, but after I served him the seagrape and spotted jellyfish sushi, I was completed out of seagrape.
