Iron Ore?

I'm getting close to the end of the gameplay that's available, and finally unlocked a weapon I'm excited to use. Only thing I need is iron ore, but I can't seem to find it anywhere?!

30-150? Middle deep. Similar to lead.

Lead is dark grey, Iron is bright grey.

I have exactly the same problem, I am not finding iron anywhere, lead I have tons of, now even amethyst and opal is no problem. Can someone post a screen shot of an iron ore deposit, then it would be easier to find.
I looked by the yellow delivery boat, could not find it there, also by the cave, same problem.

Okay, I finally found a video and found it myself in the game, I already thought it would be impossible to find. It is usually next to the sawnose sharks to the right or left of the high current caverns.
