exactly. i'm not buying this due to lack of content for R18.
you need to realise they could add a patch for PC. their older games had R18 and needed to patch, previous games for other platforms, Sony or Nintendo used adult games but removed the content. Nintendo is now doing this. this why the game won't sell as good as their previous games.
we talking ninindays or kukukodays R18+? cause if you go to qureate website, you don't need a patch for their games on switch?
- NekoMiko (1.24.19 and $9.99 Steam, 12.5.19 and $9.99 Switch)
- NinNinDays (8.8.19 and $12.99 Steam, 3.12.20 and $7.99 Switch)
- TroubleDays (1.14.20 and $12.99 Steam, 7.9.20 and $7.99 Switch)
- KukkuroDays (5.15.20 and $12.99 Steam, 8.6.20 and $7.99 Switch)
- Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol. 1 (11.5.20 and $7.99 Switch, 12.15.20 and $12.99 Steam)
- Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol. 2 (1.14.21 and $7.99 Switch, 2.19.21 and $12.99 Steam
- Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol. 3 (3.18.21 and $7.99 Switch, 5.14.21 and $12.99 Steam)
- IdolDays (6.17.21 and $7.99 Switch, 8.6.21 and $12.99 Steam)
- NinNinDays 2 (11.18.21 and $9.99 Switch, 1.21.22 and $14.99 Steam)
Otherwise it was ecchi with Prison Princess and Livestream, then qureate fully committed to ecchi with Duel Princess (1.13.22) and everything after: NozoKimi, beat refle, Love on Leave, Sentimental Death Loop, Livestream 2, and Maid of the Dead. Steam players now just have to wait around 2 weeks for the Switch beta test to bug fix.Presumably their next 4 games for 2024 will also be ecchi: Bunny Garden (Dream Club-like), Fantasista Asuka (Captain Tsubasa-like), the next Princess title, and the other one. Meanwhile, Oh! Megami-sama Days (a visual novel) from their late 2021 announcement is vaporware at this point.
All their recent games have some gameplay to it, I'm okay with this shift.
this is what I want and meant by the topic. "Steam-exclusive R18 patches" good on you sir. please developer bring back.
For that matter, the Steam version patches still have mosaic censorship. This isn't the case for some other versions, such as on GOG (which has patches available as free DLC, rather than needing to get it off another website). I assume this is because the Japanese devs can't legally put out uncensored content themselves, but stores, which operate outside of Japan and sell to audiences outside of Japan, can.
Anyway, tbh, what the game really needs is more builds and things to discover. Haven't beat the game entirely, but at least through chapter 6, the weapon variety seems pretty lacking, compared to other games in the genre. The lack of weapon evos is also pretty disappointing. Pretty much just seems like full drone build is the only real build, since that allows you to get weapons that build on the drones, whereas other weapons and equipment don't really synergize at all.
If you want 18+ games in this genre, those exist, so that alone wouldn't really set this apart (aside from the nice art style). The only thing this title seems to have going for it, that's unique compared to other games in the genre, is the fact that it actually has a storyline with an actual narrative at all.
