I dont think the gender is specific. You can change your chest size and hair and name. Weird issue though. People play "forced" gendered characters all the time. Mostly male. Doubt the gathering of pixels actually has genitals at all.

Option 2 On the character Body type indicates a male type body, yet still looks "feminine" than actually being a male, not many face options since both look the same, hair options are mostly towards female side.

Now if they were trying to what Harvestella did, then it didn't quite make the mark. Its not a forced Female game or otherwise they would only have one body type option.

Personally I think character creation needs more work on it, But as I see it isn't an Early Access game and it's supposed to be feature complete.

The body slider totally lets you be whatever gender you want. With the body slider almost fully to the right my character looks male to me, even if it is slightly anime male.

I Would rather play females in these types of games so I may give this game a try but man, when a game's only option is someones preferred gender it's like anyone asking about other options is akin to them calling your dog a mean name and you need to defend it's honor.
