Wish I could offer you advice. I'm hoping someone figures a way out.
Oh man, I'm really sorry to hear that! I did some quick searches myself and noticed that some players are dealing with this issue, which is less common than I expected. It's a bummer because the game is so good—I've had a blast playing it. Unfortunately, this hiccup has really taken the wind out of my sails. With so many other games to play, I don't see myself starting a new journey in this one!
Thanks for the supportive message, and I hope you manage to resolve your issue too.
Apologies if our response has been delayed, and also for the problems you've encountered. Softlocks like this are at the top of our priority to check, so I've gone and sent this over to our devs to check! We'll have this solved as soon as we can.
For Altronamas, I'll see if we can consider having that feature baked-in. Otherwise, we'll do our best to investigate this matter so that this doesn't at any point in the game.
Thank you for your patience, guys.

Update Edit 1/17/24:
Hi, guys!
I received word from the dev team about your issues, and they've acknowledged that they've fixed these issues and will be gone by the next patch update. They're still making sure that these instances don't happen again.
So, I hope you'll hang on tight, and for stherno especially, I hope you'll join us again in the Toy Room when we drop those updates. I know the issues took the wind out of your sails, but if there was one thing we learned from Muchacho Man is that we see the end of our stories.

I indeed took some time to respond to this post as I was gathering the strength to embark on a new journey. However, the prospect of replaying around 20 hours seemed a bit daunting. Nevertheless, it's crucial to note that I am a huge fan of the game and the incredible work your team does. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next update, confident that I can pick up the game where I left off.
My question is: With my character stuck, how could I possibly continue the game? I'm thinking that our colleague's suggestion of adding an option to reset the character's position could be an excellent interim solution until a more permanent fix is implemented.
That's all for now. Big hugs and success to all of us!
Thanks for getting back to me, and there's no need to apologize. I'm glad that you appreciate our presence. All we want is to fix what's broken and make WrestleQuest the best it can be, and this can only happen if we get insights from you.
That said, I think it would be a good idea for you to send us your log or save file so that we can investigate. You can send them to kei@megacatstudios.com, and I'll ensure the team gets them as soon as possible!
@ Altronamas: Same thing with you, too. The devs have asked me to ask for your save file, too. That way, we can have a quick fix regarding this issue, please.
