Hello,
you can play the game up to 4 players. So even if your group only has 2 or 3 players, that's fine as well.

Players can choose to control 2 characters if they want as well

So ther is a way to play two heroes with one mouse
and other two heroes with the pad ?
I can't do that... Am I missiong something?
I think you just leave them as CPU. Its only important that you have the gameplay option off, that CPU will make their own decisions.
And then you can both just move the CPUs with your mouse or controller.
The same way you would move your own characters.

Hi ! Nope, it will always be 4 characters in the party.

If you are two and only want to control one character each, there will still be 2 characters in the party. As explained above, said characters can make their own choices if you turn on the option (though you can still move them from their spots afterwards) or you can move them around yourselves.

I hope this answers your question.

it does thank you!

it just (For the king) was more enjoyable when we get 1 character each cuz im not the biggest fan of having to control 2
but i guess this game is designed differently so it wont be as bad to do that
