Q: Will Downfall come to Mobile/Switch?

A: Unfortunately this is impossible. Platforms other than PC do not support any form of modded content. Steam Deck, if you can get your hands on one, is the only way to play Downfall on a portable at the moment.

Q: What's the difference between the Steam and Workshop versions?

A: Effectively none! They are the same build, but the Steam version does not support other mods nor does it have the advanced configuration options. But in exchange, it has a streamlined launcher that doesn't require launching the Mod loader. It's up to you which you prefer, though we do encourage Steam users to eventually transition to Workshop to see what else the mod community has to offer other than (or in addition to) Downfall.

Q: Can I help with Downfall?

A: Yes! Whether it is translation, balance design, coding, replacing recolored base game art with legitimate art, or just slapping together some beta art - we welcome all contributors. There's guides in how to get started in announcements , or just ask around.

Q: I want to try translating the mod into another language! How do I get started?

A: If you are familiar with GitHub, then forking the project and starting a branch would be the easiest method.

Q: My text is still English but I play in another language! What happened?

A: Downfall only officially supports English, Korean, and Simplified Chinese at this time. Any other languages will revert back to English by default. We will look into removing unsupported languages from Slay the Spire's default language list for the Steam standalone for Downfall since it would only load the correct language text for original Slay the Spire text (base game characters, colorless cards, etc) and not the new content.
