It tickles the tism

This is a pretty great version of minesweeper with some interesting variations. In the default "expert" mode, you have to back all your clicks with logic. The game knows what you can prove and what you can't. If you guess, it will flag it as a mistake. It forces you to really hunker down with the logic, which can get pretty involved with some of the variations. The ability to draw all over the puzzle in multiple colors is super useful and it was actually the only way I could solve some of them. Like "Okay, if this one square is a mine, then this is empty, one of these two is filled, one of those three is filled and there's a mine over here. (changes to different color) But if this one square is empty, then this is a mine, let's see, here and here and here... oh okay this one square is empty either way! Well let's click there..." Some of it can send you right into the weeds, but if you don't mind forfeiting your perfect complete the hint system is great. It shows you which clue and which square you need to look at, but it doesn't tell you whether the square (or squares) is a mine. You still need to figure that out, but now you know where to look. Super simple UI with no unnecessary bells and whistles. Does what it says on the tin. If that sounds good to you you will like it.

Since young I've been a casual minesweeper player, using minesweeper apps on my free time and things like that, so I naturally bought this game thinking I'd get the casual experience, boy was I wrong.

When developers said that the procedural generation was like nothing you've seen before they're right, I was so used to just retaining the classic patterns and guessing that I grew used to play mindlessly, this game doesnt work like that AT ALL, every move you do has to be backed with its own train of thought, it is immensely satisfying to do a perfect clear and it's just so addictive, can't recommend it enough. It requires a small change of mentality if you were like me but it is so worth it once you get it.

If you like Minesweeper there are two obligatory games: Hexcells and 14 Minesweeper Variants.
This game has so much hidden content that it makes the title seem like a joke.

I am so happy I found out about this game. An absolute gem :)
