Roads
I just started. I dropped the hunter hut right in the forest but I can't drop a farm or house without clearing all the trees out first. Ok that is fine but can I please just run a road through the trees at least?

Haven't played the full game yet, but in the demo, the Hunting Hut was one of several buildings that didn't need to be connected by roads.

Thanks but I still just want to lay out some basic roads
I agree, I would like to see a system like in other games of this type that when you draw a road thru the forest it automatically sets those trees to be cut down and the road built after.

In that situation, said cutting down of said trees should be at the top of the tree-chopping priority list.
Both small roads and large roads cost the same materials. Any reason to use one or the other?

The difference is purely aesthetic!

thank you
Question: Why can't we build without building roads? I think you should change this. In some places, buildings can't be built because there are trees.

game is already pretty laid back and simple why do you need to take out one of the things that makes you think??? Sorry tree's should be left the way they are...
