Played the demo for 2 1/2 hours ... 1st Roman city builder to hold my interest
Watched Raptor's video, and got interested because combat was optional. Then played the demo, and that really sucked me in.

The dynamic of the Roman gods is intriguing. The demo only had 4. Will more gods be added?

WAS planning on picking up a medieval city builder, but now I'll wait till after this game is released.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the demo! More gods will probably added with time, although too many gods might just cause confusion for players.

Makes sense.

Tutorial feedback: Overall, you got this right. It wasn't as fleshed out as I would like, but the intuitive UI made up for up. (Only time that I got confused, was with Quarries. THOUGHT that I needed a connecting road, but found out otherwise by browsing this forum.)

2025 release? Asking that you take as much time as necessary, to get it right. Seen too many games, released much too early, then get blasted with bad reviews.

Thanks for the tutorial feedback. Would be great if you could point to some things that you wished were covered by the tutorial :)

The plan is to release in Early Access in the first half of 2025

Some buildings MUST be connected by a road, but others (e.g. Quarry, Forager's Hut) don't require a road. Tool tip, or some other indicator what buildings require a road, and which ones don't don't. (Maybe put a 'road' icon next to the buildings that need a road.

Much of the time, I was ahead of the tutorial, anticipating what I would need.

That's another point about your tutorial ==> It's not completely scripted. IOW, the player isn't being lead by the hand, EVERY SINGLE STEP! Good thing, because a game like this, the player needs the opportunity to experiment.
