Spend more then just a couple minutes in the game, and actually play it and you find it can be fun and a relaxing gameplay from other games. I got to play test this before it even hit the market and i actually enjoyed it, you can progress but don't expect it just to be 'handed to you', it takes time to get a good base going and some nice weapons to defend yourself.

Using tools like the stone hatchet you craft to chop down trees is probably a really BAD idea to attack zombies with, but seems the same with all zombie based games.

I suggest ignoring Zaxtor99® TTV's game, he didn't even spend any time in the game and has a habit of bashing games that use content from the Unreal Marketplace. He also makes alot of bad assumptions about the game saying that is using assets that it isn't. Honestly, his video and posted review is just BS. The guys seems to just like bashing games without giving them any sort of a chance. At the time of his review, he spent a hole 0.3 hrs in the game, and most of that was probably setting up for his youtube stream.

as a legally blind gamer I can say I didn't know if I would be able to see the ui, fortunately I can and I can say for a EA title this game is fun i've always said in the past it would be nice if further games would allow you to move/swap UI or HUD

spent some hours in the game, building is fun not to much grinding to get the house to where you want it. solid 60 plus fps even with settings turned to max, dev. is very active on discord and game play smooth even after several hours of game play at start food and water little hard to find but with water maker and farming food late game and water isn't bad at all.

Some great potential here! Feels like the love-child of Fortnite and 7 Days to Die.

Charming visuals and a surprisingly in-depth crafting system make gathering materials feel satisfying. Combat is basic but punishing enough that each encounter needs to be thought through. Discovering how to do the basics is a rewarding challenge.

The incoming updates bringing multiplayer and a map system will add a lot to the game, looking forward to seeing the changes.

Takes skill not to die but that is part of learning the game. Recommended and looks good so far but remember it's an early release so be patient.

i really like the game, I've played now for 50 hours. Just a few things that need attention: I'm still on day 2,,,days don't change. I'm at level 13 and can't seem to get my achievements (excluding Build) to go up, should have maxed all of them by now, it still say 0 zombie kills. I do believe that more clothes will be added since there are spots for them, maybe we could repair them would be nice. And what's with the mine door that won't open, what are you suppose to do with empty books (only nails?) After I built my truck the game didn't want to run. I think that once they fix the problems this will be a game that could keep growing and be a lot of fun.

The game is OK so far. defiantly needs crouching. It would also be cool to have a free camera button so we can see the front of our character in game.

Wasn't sure what to expect on my first play but after about 3 hours I was enjoying it. Looking forward to playing more and for future updates. Liking the UI and the little stuff setting it apart from other survival games. Being early access it ran great, no FPS drops for me at least, some tweaks needed but has potential. Looking forward to coop multiplayer to enjoy with friends.

This game has potential, I would recommend it as a purchase now just to support the Dev.
He is very active with discussions and appears to be working on this game.

The game does need a lot of work especially the combat.
So far the zombies only have 1 hit box that I have noticed, you cant head shot the zombies with guns, which means the guns all act like BB guns.
The zombies are bullet sponges.

The zombies are easy to outrun because they will rubber band back to their spawn.
Damage is very low on melee weapons, even at the start of the game a single zombie kill can take a while so if you accidentally pull 2 or more you might want to run away or strafe backwards whilst swinging slowly for what feels like 10 minutes, the combat appears to be heavily reliant on using unintentional character movements to get through it.

I will return to this once I see some combat improvements.
