Metal Plates .. Oh dear !

I have just been to every building on the map searched every one searched all the cars .. the bins large and small found TWO metal plates .. Won't be playing / wasting my time again on this game until that has been sorted .. bought the plan for metal plates well what do you know you can only build them in the fabricator .. which needs 15 metal plates to build .. why is there NOT a trader that sells these items we need on the game ?

Vending machines will give you metal plates when you harvest them with a pickaxe. They can be found by food places.

the air ducts on rooftops also give them. not many buildings where you can get to the roof though. and i could be mistaken but i have also seen them drop from tv's when you hit them with pickaxe

I've done the air ducts all I got was metal scrap to put in the forge .. will just keep playing an finally find the amount I need .. Hoping the Dev's clear this problem soon for all the newcomers to the game. Looking forward to future updates for sure ..
