A simple "creative menu"/cheat menu would alleviate so many of the problems with the game right now
I'm genuinely enjoying this game in spite of the flaws it has, and one of the main reasons for that is the fact that there is so much customization in the settings that let you change things like enemy difficulty and recoil where a lot of games would just force you to play the singular way the devs want you to play.

But I do feel like that customization is missing in some places and it could really be solved with a simple cheat menu akin to a "creative mode" menu which would let you spawn items, units etc in with it. The biggest criticism of the game right now I've seen is that AI doesn't need to manage its resources or manpower, while the player has to. Meaning that they can endlessly spawn vehicles and units in without considering the fact that you can easily roll a save with *zero* aluminum nodes on the entire map meaning the player is locked out of vehicles while the AI isn't, and that the AI will inevitably wear down your manpower while not suffering any losses themselves.

I know this stuff would take a long time to resolve with balancing, but a quick and temporary solution that would also be helpful for people learning or experimenting with the game would be a simple cheat menu with options like instant research/production/etc, item spawning, unit spawning etc, and I think this would really help in the long term.

honestly, the cheat menu thing would be nice. for example, something like the search list on Amazon.com. And classified also. Just in case you forget. So basically speaking, you can Type the cheats in, and also just press it with a button. Like for people who use a video game controller when they are on the toilet, and want to play to stock up on supplies. I just won the entire game just now.

The latest patches added a console menu and there are now commands to do things like add resources and rush research or spawn items.

Saying that, I just tried it out and it seems that some of the commands don't actually work or haven't been implemented yet. They are there in the console command help section (with examples, which is handy), but aren't functional when being used. My guess is a patch or two from now, the console menu will have full cheat functionality. Reason I'm saying it is because I've been interested in the exact same things as well!

Greetings. In the next update, all of this will be available to players via console commands.

These commands are already implemented and working, but only for testers. In the next update these commands will be available to all players.

Henlo. Can I ask if you can place a command code cheat to spawn a Rebel Group near a city? And a Strength Rating, with tanks or no tanks?

Good to know! I noticed that the command to spawn items/resources was actually removed in today's update though, will they be back soon?

We have changed our minds about adding this command to the console for now.

If I may ask, is there any reason for the removal of resource and research commands? They the only ones I was personally interested in and arguably of major interest to a lot of the other people interested in the cheat commands.

By no means is this an issue with the game, but it also sorta makes the console commands that are available rather... irrelevant? What is available was already possible to achieve easily through trainers. It's nice to have native functionality for it for sure, but also doesn't actually alter the options available to a player in any way. So far, the addition of the FoW removal has been the biggest command of worth, and honestly that should be a default game setup option rather than a console command.

Due to some minor bugs. We will add this command in the near future, dont worry.

Oh no problem. Generally speaking, this is curiosity rather than complaint. So far I've been pretty happy with how the changes are going and the responsiveness on here. I'm sure I'm not alone either.
