Calling in off map air and artillery strikes from tactical mode.

How do i do that exactly? Only guide i know just says to take out the binoculars in FPS mode, but i do not want to play the FPS part at all.

it's an icon on the bottom left that looks like a helicopter. there's one above it with a plane icon when you get planes too

you click that then find the area you want to bomb and target that way on the tac view

To be honest, don't see any helicopter icon.

you need to make a helicopter unit at the airport

You need to unlock them, then buy them, several times. There is some time between you call them and they attack, so better to focus on artillery for example

Off-map artillery needs to come from a battalion positioned close to your defense or attack targets. While air support is available everywhere once you acquire it, artillery requires placement in battalions near the action. I maintain full-stack 152mm howitzer battalions near the towns most likely to be attacked. Once I enter a battle, I can launch up to 30 barrages of 152mm shells once I identify where the enemy is advancing. As long as you can supply enough ammunition, they don’t stand a chance.

Once in a battle, press the M key then call in artillery. This method is much more effective than using binoculars on the ground. The height and perspective advantage allow you to call in precision strikes and devastate your enemies.

Additionally, airstrikes require you to have control of an airfield and to station aircraft battalions there, whether they are helicopters or planes. Once they are built, you can call in airstrikes in any battle, regardless of proximity.

colonel i'm playing battle campaine so i achived himars or m109 but i still can't click lmb when i have crosshair on map to order them atack chosen area or they'r going almoste in closecombat to start fighering

Yes, sometimes this happens to me too. What I do is try clicking next to the target. For some reason, it won't let you click directly on the target sometimes. I don't know why, but it is what it is.

Im not getting that icon even if im having helicopter squad at airport or artillery squad near battle

To use support "Air/Artillery" from the tactical map you have to play on Easy difficulty and you will have the button available, on any higher difficulty you will have to control a unit on the ground to be able to use it.

A workaround to this "If you want to cheese" is to

1# Take control of any vehicle
2# Activate the ability with F6-F8
3# Press M "Tactical map key" before using the ability
4# Now you have the ability activated and you can use it on the tactical map just like on easy mode.

And to circumvent the annoying RED tag block when you're trying to click a target is to zoom very close to the ground and then use it.
