To increase the workforce, build residential buildings in other settlements, and pass the corresponding laws.
The game is still in early access so a lot is subject to change.
A would like a kind of logistical planner, better construction and production.
Better custom squads for several army components
The thing is , before you push any laws in conscription , its almost like you only deal with voluntaries ; and there is not lot whos willing to die on war.
But once you pushed 2-3 conscription laws , there is no problems ever get fresh patriots for war. The thing is - you have to decide , either you go war , then you push conscription , or you go economy , then you push eco policy and dont play agressive.
At some point, if you play eco first , dedicate some of prod for TIGERS / MRAPS so every single squad have at least light vehicle. They are cheap and provide lot of fire power vs enemy infantry. On eco tree better lose Tiger or Mrap , rather than 10 men
But without conscription laws , even if you spam like hell Residences , you will never get lot of manpower for an intense war.
