Question about map size
I am playing in the year 2039 and am at war with a nation that has 28 cities (including villages, ports, etc.). I have no chance of surviving this war.

After entering the battle, I have no time to react. The enemy attlery immediately takes me under fire. The range is excessively large. I have to attack immediately. Unfortunately, I have no time to scout the area beforehand and all strategic and tactical planning is impossible. I am suffering massive losses and after the fourth battle at the latest, my supplies are no longer guaranteed. The wear and tear on vehicles is enormous.

I would like larger maps so that I don't come under fire immediately after entering the battle. Alternatively, the range of all vehicles and units could be reduced. It is no longer any fun at all and victory seems impossible to me. The AI seems completely unimpressed even in a state of war with 5 nations and high losses that I have inflicted. The AI spams troops, creates vehicles out of nowhere and has seemingly endless ammunition reserves. There is also no stability. If I were my opponent, the rebels would have wiped me out long ago.

the game is unplayable till proper difficulty settings are added.
In the mean time there are a few mods on nexus that can give you an edge, just make sure to get only the mods that help player only.

If you use the diplomacy mod you have much more control over your relations with AI .
The difficulty levels are not the problem. As I said, the size of the map or the range of the units. I've just come from a rage quit. After repeatedly taking multiple headshots from a tank about 800 meters away. Absolutely ridiculous is the precision. And it's always nice to come across enemy infantry in the tops of trees. Real climbing artists. Those are the things that make life difficult for me in the game. I like it difficult but I don't like being screwed over.

Soldiers in the treetops is a bug. We will redo this system soon, give us time.
No problem. I can endure it. But things that could perhaps be easily and quickly adjusted would be a dream. I'm not a programmer but I think that existing parameters could be adjusted in terms of the range or accuracy of the units. I mean, when you attack, you prepare yourself. You observe the terrain and take up positions in strategically good positions. I've now had to reduce the number of units allowed to 60. That way I can avoid major losses and not get torn to pieces by the enemy's artillery in the first second.
