How do i make a motorized/mechanized unit

Hey so i looked at this guide on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twlha6jdQPM but he has a lot more buttons when creating squads i just have one button called "create squad" and after that i can make it either Police, Militia , regular and so on. But where do i actually define if its a Motorized Regular or Mechanized Regular unit? Am i just missing the buttons? Or is it different now after an update or anything? I worked around this by creating "default" units which seem to use the vehicles i have in that city but why can we make presets if there is no button to make a unit use that preset?

At the same spot where you choose police, militia, regular there is another section where you can switch to "motorized" and there you can set the vehicle.

But where so i have the resupply button , create squad button then the dropdown Menu with default, police, militia, regular, specops, elite and then the trash can symbol to delete the battalion. I feel like a button is missing or im doing something wrong.

No no, in the Team-Editor. Right below where you choose the type (police, militia...). You have to open that little window.

old thread but ill clarify for anyone new. you have to go into the squad editor, customize the squad, then change the name, then save.
