Is it worth to buy?
Is the game worth buying it now, or wait for further development?
I am hoping its a realistic combat simulator, that atleast the infantry AI will go for cover rather than stay in the open and die to that 1 tank

Just bought it, played 6 hours, thumbs down.

Wait for this one to get better, has potential, would not suggest buying until its improved

Helps the dev's if you give some reasons as to why you didnt like it. They update regularly and listen for the most part

Well, I have given some feedback in the way of a negative review. There is a lot wrong and the user interface for a squad management game is very awkward and doesn't work well. Lots of little things to mention but I'm not doing a book report here.

I have found that the quick battle is the best way to go since the tactical and global campaigns are very bare bones, unfinished and unpolished.

I have one question that I hope someone can answer; how do you use secondary weapons in a vehicle?
Seems they don't work, although I understand not every vehicle would have secondary or even tertiary weapons but most main battle tanks should.
Additionally, infantry should have better load outs, no pistols, no additional grenades. No way to bandage or do field repair. Sure, I suppose that is something not needed but why not, its adds to fun.

It just needs a hundred million fixes. I haven't even started to criticise the global campaign or tactical campaign. Some ridiculous and obvious things to fix there.

Look I know it sounds like I hate the game but I don't. I have faith in it getting better and will change my review at that time.

My main gripe is the battles and the very poor management of your squads in a ""SQUAD MANAGEMENT GAME."" It is very awkward in design and implementation and just needs to be BETTER!

It is very complex to stop a vehicle, get the troops off and then get to fighting. Sometimes the idiotic thing is you start the battle in range of enemy fire and lose troops before having to get them off. That should never been designed that way, it ruins the strategic element of the game. They should have used FUNCTION keys and then quick keys to unload squads and give commands. The way they have it now, sometimes it doesn't even work, gets borked or is buggy.

They should have a button to go instantly to tactical map, not this disorienting zooming out crap, its confusing and most times you can't get your bearings.

Honestly, use something similar to the commanders job in the early Battlefield games where he can use the map (satellite view), currently giving commands to squads, where they rarely follow directions well anyway, is just complicated and confusing.

In 4X Campaign you can design own loadout in Squad Editor.

The idea is that later the "M" view will be an FPV drone launched by a recon unit.

Yes it is worth buying imho.

Game is fun and has potential. My biggest issue is the gun sounds and voiceovers. They sound terrible.

I have been playing more of the tactical Campaign now and I really should change my review from thumbs down to thumbs up with some more improvement. This game just needs a lot more work, it is fun but it needs very much more work.

Does not anyone agree that the way the squad commands are delegated during playing FPS on the battlefield are very difficult? Honestly sometimes they just don't seem to work, period.

My thoughts are they should have used the function keys for squads. I don't know maybe the key configuration might be able to be redone but it currently does not work well.

Bigger maps too are a very necessity. If you have infantry mounted on tanks and they are hit in the first 10 second of play before you can get them to cover, its idiotic. Perhaps another 100m of no man land at the least or an actual pre-deployment of your forces before gameplay.

Not having Pre-deployment in a game of this nature seems like a duh moment.
