I've only ever had a problem with ammo mid game but that usually comes down to my fault
I can already see how time consuming and frustrating it will be throughout the stages of the game itself and each playthrough. Simple is best, no need to overcomplicate things.
Excessive for whom? I hope the Devs shall not hear you, since that is request for casual gameplay. Just curios why don't you not playing idk Call of Duty for example. No resourses, straight and easy.
But in this game I am eager to see the most complicated logistics system, production lines, diplomacy and so on. This game just need a good interface to deal with these issues.
But that is only valid if you agree to get pushed by the game to have good relation with almost all factions (if you only have trade agreement with a couple countries you are depent on luck to get anything you need)
To be noted as well that map is randomized so there might be only on single copper mine in the all island and that is placed at the very opposite side from you in a country that hates you.... once you only have 2 large countries and the other one ownes the only copper/gold mine, you are f...ed.
I might be wrong but I also think the AI cheats by getting infinite resources/money and produces equipment instantly (no need for research and production time) so those limitations are only imposed on the player
I meant like after take over all the lands except one and need the raw resources
That sounds like a skill problem.
No , there can be options with differing difficulties , it does not affect you choice of play and gives others what they want. opposing that only makes one a d!ck
the only thing you support is being a gatekeeper for no reason when having multiple difficulty levels or options of play style does not affect you.
