How to produce more resources?

Yo, I do not have the game yet but I did play demo before EA finally launch. I remember back then that we have sooo soooo many resources but each town can produce like little of them. Soo How do we get more resources and cash?? I quit playin back then after done clearing rebel cuz it look too complicated and not so fun

I been watching some Youtube gameplay and it seem we must setup our own little convoy connect stuff to town to send resources?? I wish this get more simplify or easier to set it up.

More simplify option like if this town is tank factory and we create tank here then it should AUTOMATICLLY request all kind of resouces each town hold to produce tank cuz this town is lacking.

Attack convey to raid supply is possible etc.

Resources has an Auto pool to it , so if you have a city that produce tanks and ammunition and these two need iron to produce it for example however the Iron is not there in this city but is produced by another city , The tank factory will automatically takes the iron that it needs for the National storage ( Your country storage ) so you dont have to send it by convoy , however you still can deliver it manually by creating an iron convoy to the city that needs iron . Now you might wonder why would you do that when the game automatically let them take the iron from national pool . The reason is that the game takes into account the proficiency of production , meaning that lets say if your tank production at 100 % efficiency takes 100 hours ( 100 % means that all resources is available at your factory and ready to produce ) , in that regard if the iron still needs to come from another city it will impact your production efficiency and the factory will take lest say 150 hours instead of 100 . you can see no production efficiency in the production Tab and it tells you how much it is .
personally i make sure that i send manually all the resource to each factory so i can have 100 efficiency

You can set the type of resource supply to cities in the gameplay settings, then you will not need convoys at all.
