This is better than Arma 3

Playing this my first reaction was it does almost everything better than that game!
In arma you spent like half a minute going through the menu to enter anything, then all movement is clunky and any sort of firefight with more than 20 units creates mega lag...

And to get into a battle you either spend hours creating a scenario or more hours searching for a skirmish using one of the mods, but it never turnsout cool always a mess when doing it naturally.

Here it's 5 minutes in and you got an epic battle!

Also this game seems to be having proper physics available meanwhile in arma instead of rocks flying you have tanks flying when hitting a rock lol

Why are you even comparing this game to Arma 3? I see virtually no similarity, they're two completely different games.

Arma has no rts element, industry, economy, etc., and the 1st person aspect is complete different.

Please explain to me what this game has to do with ARMA 3 and why you're even comparing the two.

Because there's nothing to compare it to jackass, this is one of a kind game.

Also I spent like hundreds of hours in arma to get a scenario like this game so it can be done there, too bad all you did was play altis life

I want to agree but while it's got good bones and reminds me of Arma 2's CTI (to a degree at least) Arma's combat still feels far superior to this. Even with arma's difficulty I at least feel like I have a chance at fighting back while npc's in this game can snipe you 100 meters away with no optics with some junk gun. It's bonkers.

the Mother of finest : Men of War Assault Squad 2 ..with mods, its beat everything. So first i thougt Total Conflict: Resistance will be like MOWAS2 .. i still hope that it will not so fast as COH. And for ARMA 2/3 there are mods,so u can play like rts..ur the commander ..and u see the battlefiel from top..but izs buggy.^^. The Animations,look etc from Total Conflict: Resistance is very good for that early stage,,i really like it. But u really cant compare to arma 3 etc. Arma is no rts, it a Milsim! I Wish Total Conflict will be not such "Fast Pushing Games". Hope huhge Maps. Maybe they make 2 Gamemods ;).

like the guy above said, the Men of War series is a great start. Assault Squad 1 has the Dynamic Campaign Generator mod which lets you do as it suggests and play through the entire WW2 day by day as almost all major nations and a couple extra, it's older and a mod so not as polished and finnicky to get working right but Gates of Hell has that in a more polished sense as Conquest mode, but with only eastern front nations and less maps

Truly good and "finished" idk gaming like else have become too shy and slow this kind of ambitious next gen things where everything is mixed and a bit "life like" .

In the end it comes down to that first person mode and they both do a good job.
Thats why im comparing it to ARMA. If this game offers mod support, skirmish mode and an editor, I would play this game 24/7

Oh by the way, there are some cool mods that offer some RTS elements in ARMA.

OR MAYBE ALSO YOU CAN HAVE SAID MATE THAT :
THEY ARE "SIMULATION"
and pretend to an extend to be accurate and give the feeling you know and the freedom of real life.

Like i think it's a big part of the argument for a comparison.
