Not a Tablet or Laptop of the Tactical Map.
So you can fly around and tell Squads where to go, where enemies are.
You can select them by clicking their flag icon or by pressing the number of the squad and Right click to tell them where to go.
And you can use Shift + Right Click to set custom way-points that zig zag around obstacles and enemies.

to see how to play the game :)
Yes, I got that, I just don't find it very intuitive. No map or compass just makes me feel that somethings missing from a tactical point of view. Even a minimap would be a big help. I can't think of a single game that I play that doesn't have this.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, at least the demo has given me an idea of what to expect. I'd love to see it develop into something I'd want to buy.
Personally though, at the moment it feels like two quite different unfinished games loosely glued together. Even from a graphical point of view there doesn't seem to be much cohesion between the cartoony rts interface and the glossy graphics of the fps.
Right now, I just don't feel that they bond together very fluidly compared to other games that use this hybrid concept.
Just my personal perspective, and I don't want to knock what you're doing in any way because it's a great concept and I'm only experiencing a demo of a clearly unfinished game.
All the best with your endeavours, I shall definitely keep this game on my watchlist. :-)
I haven't played Tarkov, but I had Sandstorm and I remember it having a map of some kind.
I don't really like mini-maps, I've disabled mine in the BF2 mod that I'm creating. But to me, the ability to open a map in a tactical game is essential. I find the so called 'drone' view pretty useless in this game. I'd like to hit 'M' for map and get an actually map, which shows objectives and the position of my troops, and perhaps has a grid and compass. It seems pretty fundamental to me.
