Brightness bug

So the game starts and my brightness is 0.5. I change it to 2.0 and start playing. when i want to open options in game my brightness returns to 0.5. I try to change it but the apply i cant apply it. I cant press anything in the apply setting window. I must restart the game.
i tried re installing, verifying game files, searching on the web but nobody seems to have the same issue. maybe problem with hardware but im not sure. Any help?
I forgot to also add that the game was working fine before the 19 October update

I have this issue as well, i dont think its hardwars since the game was working fine for me for a couple hours. Than when i loaded up the game a couple hours later it had this issue

I hope everyone doesn't encounter this kind of problem like me, but I have found a solution.

delete



C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\TotalConflictResistance



last



Copy your archive back, this will solve the problem.

Brightness / Sound Issue is a Steam Cloud Issue
problem was fixed after turning off steam cloud

Got same bug. Turning of steam cloud did not fix it for me. TBH I will pause untill this is fixed on the back end (=at Steam/Bug fix)
