The game crashes when entering the Clown Prix "bossfight?"

I was playing the game without any problems, until I unlocked the Clown Prix level, the last level of the Funhouse World, but everytime I try to go in, the game like closes abruptly during the loading screen of the level, the loading bar reaches around the middle of the load, and then no message or something, just closes.
I've already lowered the FPS, the definition of the shadows and everything, even tried unplugging my Xbox controller and trying to play it with the keyboard, but nothing, already tried like 5 times and still nothing.
Any idea why could this suddenly happen with this level in particular? I haven't had this error in the rest of the gameplay

Fragmented HDD or corrupted files? Bad sectors? try a reinstall.
