Temperature generation per component?
I was just wondering if there is a way to figure out the temperature generation per component as i am trying to plan how much heat will be generated per pc to plan an optimal space with computers. If anyone knows how to get information about the heat generation from every component besides testing them all i would love to hear.

When running at 100%, each component generates heat equal to their Wattage. So, a 130W CPU will generate twice as heat as a 65W CPU.

For most components you can see the wattage in the shop. For some (ex. motherboards) you can see it in the build screen when you insert the component into the build, hover the mouse over and you can see the wattage at the very bottom of the screen.

If you overclock, it will use proportionally more power and generate more heat in the same proportion. I.e. 120% overclock generates 120% heat.

The actual power drain from the grid depends on your power supply rating. For example, components that need 1000W using a 80% rated power supply will draw 1000/0.8 = 1250W. The excess power wasted is actually turned into heat inside the power supply itself.

As for heat removal, it depends on number of fans in the PC. The more fans the PC case has, the more heat will be transferred from the computers into the next tile (the one where the exhaust arrows on top of the racks point).
