WARNING TO NEW PLAYERS!!!

Because i play this game on PS5 (200h+) i have to give out a warning here for anyone who wants to get into this game. Just don't. The game is as good as dead even with the server merge. You WILL be stuck at the lower tiers and are not able to rank up becasue no one plays the lower tier missions anymore. Here a list whats also not good with the game.

- Matchmaking ASS
- Progression ASS
- Doge and Parry feels like ASS (especially now with the merge to the asia server)
- Content diversity is ASS
- No depth in playing and building characters

The only good thing is the story and that you can play with so many SAO characters but honestly at this point this game needs a COMPLETT reboot.

I agree with you BUT as a new player I've gotten consistent games since s3 started. Peak asia time is morning-evening europe. I've ranked up and unlocked my new quests since then. the day before the update it was like you said. its going to back to that after asia leaves in a bit. even when i do get games, everyone else is so overpowered they just carry and i dont even get to do anything...

I experience this as a day 1 player LOL I dont struggle to get a match at any time of day like everyone else keeps complaining about funnily enough - early AM, late at night, mid day, I get a match pretty fast thankfully. What I do experience are people who've configured their stuff so OP they one shot everything so fast I barely have time to make it to the boss at the end, making it so I'm unable to complete certain missions, and possibly miss out on picking up the cosmetics at the end :| (For the incoming skill issue or "git gud" I just use the auto equip I don't really want to go and make one shot OP builds tbh being a tryhard on a game like this is not my style lol)

How is progression ass when it is so easy to do your weeklies and get all of the content from the pass?

And I still never have to wait more than a few minutes to find a match, and I play every day (until I complete the current pass).

This is why I didn't buy the game. I don't trust these developers when it comes to honing a product. They have good big ideas, but it falls apart in execution.

My experience is entirely different. Just yesterday, had to wait 30+ minutes and 5 players didn't join the match.

Maybe we're playing entirely different games or something.

Don't forget the ASS community. Here on Steam, it's particularly nasty. Good for farming points, though. As OP has no doubt figured out. Watch the bad half of this lot swarm this in a few days and give it clown points in a sad attempt to defend this garbage.

I agree Steam's Clown award should actively deduct points from people instead of rewarding them

Clown abuse would be even worst that people would stop posting all together.
Just stop rewarding any points and trolling for them will stop,
There will still be classic troll post but these are rare.

I am not sure you understand what you said.
If its up to you, then everyone who get award will get their points reduced.
So what stop people from giving awards just to intentionally reduce points of people.
People will give all possible awards just to reduce other people points.
I dont know in what weird world you live when that is better to you.

I like the game but damn it gets dry and boring so frickin easily because you're just doing the same missions and such over and over again with no variety in biomes, maps, and such. If this was open or semi-open world like the previous games, it would be a lot better but with exploration and discovery gone, it's just your typical looter / grinder with nothing rewarding worth playing for. <_<
