How to turn off damage numbers

playing as LLENN when you're hitting the weakspot AND with a elemental weakness is atrocious with how big the text and numbers are. Is there a way to turn it off or at least minimize it?

From what I can tell there isnt. LLEN is really the only person I want this on too but I 100% understand your pain.

There is a "Display Effects" in the Gameplay Tab in Options but I dont think you can change the number display.

This is totally crazy, it makes the character unplayable lol. How this got past QA is beyond me
