Hardcore mode Boss Raid
They should implement a hardcore mode that limits resurrections or simply eliminates them in boss raids. I feel like this could greatly improve the feeling of SAO's original essence, significantly increase immersion, and add importance to positioning, when to parry, and recognizing enemy patterns

I heard healers and tanks are obsolete since missions are just rushing and downing the boss as fast as possible with dps.

that is the problem with anime games, i feel like they rely heavily on the fans and slack on actually improving the game, knowing the targeted audience will eat it up.

"Support" only seem obsolete because of the following reasons.

1) "DPS" don't bother seeing if they get healed by a party member when it matters.
2) Dying in 1 hit is all the rage these days. There is nothing to heal if there is nothing left to heal.

3) Support is more like various buff. But the game is not balance. Leafa and Silica is fairly terrible in the "Support" category.

4) Some support like Yuna feels more like DPS rather than support.

Actually they just need to make you deal less dmg outside of certain mechanics and focus more on sustaining mechanics so ppl can adjust accordingly to that. Limiting resurrections aren't making the boss feels better to fight but rather harder to accomplish and deprive motivations if players aren't in the same level of skills floor.

Aside, im guessing they want it to be more casual approach then hardcore so the current version is off right now (Usually, that means later bosses might upscale the difficulty). Since this one is more of an entry level to SAO for those who never play any previous games and might continue to expand so on. I think they need to do something with the customize related and adding extra patterns for stat effect to make the gameplay better, animation clutch is still a thing though...

The unfortunate thing about that, is with the way the game is built; and the way it's engine runs. That would be *Very* difficult without major tweaking. The game is by nature a DPS rush, even counting the buffs of supports ; early quests (Which is where a chunk of the player base still is anyhow) only take around 10-15 minutes to complete; not given any other factors. Bosses *will* repeat mechanics (Looking at you Skull Reaper) and some tells are even impossible to tell the difference between one attack and the next.
Fundamentally it is an SAO game, and they've never really been difficult. With the exception honestly being Hollow fragment end game lol. Love to see a mode like that come out though, even if just for the die hard players.

It gets annoying when everything boils down to a DPS race, but I would like the boss raid mode to really feel like you're facing a floor boss and not just another random character. Skull Reaper should be given the respect it deserves, considering that hypothetically, it's the boss of Floor 75 and one of the ones that caused the most casualties in the series (after two plays, it just becomes another task).

But well, I guess this would be more of a suggestion and fanservice that any
