The story mode alone will keep you busy for over 20 hours. I think you get a lot for your money.

im 11 hours in on the beginning of chapter 3. Theres 5 chapters total that have multiple story quests. Ive been also S ranking my story quests with 100 percent completion so it takes quite a bit longer if your unlucky when it comes to finding stuff on the map. The main story will probably be around 20 hours long by the time I finish it probably longer since im S ranking them. been enjoying the story so far (especially if you want to see some cool interactions ex: kirito meeting eugeo again despite him dying in the anime yea ik its not canon but its still cool) I have not touched multiplayer yet but im guessing you can put a lot of hours in that too

TBH not really, I bought the Deluxe for $70 and somewhat regret it, is more like a $25-$35 game. I am not a super big fan of the anime but still enjoyed it and watched it all the way until the Arc Eugeo and Alice appear (forgot what season). I mostly recommend this game only to fans and/or you like the "MMO" theme to it.

While the game doesnt lack content, the content is pretty repetitive. The story up until chapter 3 is just Multiplayer or Freeroam maps just with a story slapped in it. Multiplayer is ok but will definitely get repetitive, so far the objectives in "COOP QUESTs" have been largely the same. "Raid Boss Missions" cant speak much since I only did the first unlockable raid mission but I did find it fun.

My major gripe with the game is that while it has a decent character selection most are not that fun to use and their abilities/skills are kind meh and TBH feel kinda lazy from the devs. One example is LLENN, she is squishy and uses a SMG so she needs to keep a distance but for some reason the devs decided to give her 3 skills that puts her near enemies, one where she slides towards enemies while shooting and her ultimate plus her second skill just have her do melee attacks. Death Gun is another character that uses a sniper rifle but has two skills that are just melee. One skill just uses thrust attacks from a rapier he has and the second skill makes him go invisible but if you activate it again he does another thrust coming out from invisibility.

TLDR: If your big fan of the anime or like the "MMO" theme you will probably enjoy it but if your just a casual fan, like I am the would just skip it or wait for a big price drop.

Story alone is about 20 hours, that does not include any Extra Quests.
After finishing the Story you get even more Story Missions in a whole different Menu and some sort of Fighting Tower.
Also this is a Multiplayer Focused game, you have Co-op Raids and Boss Raids with up to 20 Players and Free Roam.
