Why the ♥♥♥♥ is this always online!??

The amount of times I have been disconnected MID cutscene because the game requires a always online connection even in single player or playing with cpus is INCREDIBLY annoying. Remove this always online garbage requirement from the game NO one likes it. Or do you want to end up like ubisoft?

its actually not. i was playing this on playstation today and disconnected 8 times. It was infuriating. this should NOT happen with singleplayer parts of the game

The PSN was having global server issues Mon and Tues.
Steam like EVERY Tuesday had maintenance and thus Steam servers went down for a bit to handle maintenance.

Impressed how this got explained in the first 3 messages to then suddenly become a topic about always online games.

Which I mean, Sly is right. A game that requires an online connection to play will be unplayable when they close their servers for it. There's an EU petition going on for that very thing.

They want to sell in-game items and make grinding really hard for free items. When you just bought the game for $100.
Then they add anti-cheat and always online to prevent someone who try to bypass the the anti-cheat to make a cheat program and obtain these items.

At least I don't see it on free cheats's website.

It'd be like GBF:RL if no anti-cheat and always online.

The Crew 1 was fully online, for The Crew 2 they will add offline play, for this SAO game, well, you can play it offline, there is nothing denying you access to offline modes, but you have to cry over stupid stuff like that.
Every online game will end it's services someday, if you ain't ok with that then why do you even care about such games in the 1st place? That's your problem, not theirs.
