Watched the original anime when it first came out. It was OK. But games like these though are usually not good. But its the norm, sure. To milk something with mediocre to bad game play but keeping the images and likeness of the original to tug on those fan heart strings. Its almost like they are taking advantage of the fandom to burn the IP for as much cash it can get to its death.

Never watched the anime. Not interested. Every SAO game in existence is ♥♥♥♥. I hated all of them and refunded all of them. This is the first one they've put out thats actually good. There's obviously things that need to be changed but calling it garbage is far from true. The game is fun.

bro it has cosmetics of course theirs gonna be micro transactions, at least you can earn tickets in the battle pass to get bundles something i haven't seen since like BO4

You joking right? This game is hot garbage. They literally screw this SAO. It is no longer open world. Now is like Story Tab Quest. Is like going zone after zone fighting the same mobs. Is literally like Monster Hunter. Accept the quest which in this case is story and do same thing over and over. I prefer like Lycoris where you actually go to one area to area in an open world map. I thought recollection was terrible, this one take the prize. Not to mention the char face look a little weird from previous one. You only can level up one char at time which is the party leader unlike previous games. Gameplay trash, Graphics trash, Overall trash.

I actually really liked lycoris as well and the previous RPG like sao games
