When a game is about to release I always see people asking about this.
1-Steam tells you when a preload is available, and when a game is released (opens).
2-It really isn't that important, I mean, how long it can it really take to download an average game like this one?
I don't know about you people but for me, let's say, a 100gb game takes about 10-13min max to download and be ready to play (this game should be around 45-50gb according to the system requirements), and yes, I live in a "3rd world" ass country, so I assume for people in the USA and other "1st world" countries like that it should be even faster?
And maybe you can say something like "If I preload a game then I can start playing it on the very 1st second it opens!", but let's be real here, are you REALLY going to do that???
Can't you, like, wait a few minutes to download it once it released before playing? Do you REALLY need to preload a fkng SAO game?????????
No hate here, I'm legit curious...
it took me approximately 2 days of downloading for a 30gig game
So it's pretty important to some people especially
when they are selling 3 days early access for a significant price
Would be kinda dumb if you payed for it
but couldn't even access the game during that time
Rough calculations say you have around 150-160MB/s which is by no means neither slow nor cheap, either it be in the "1st world country" or 3rd. Prob your provider says your plan is 1000mbps. Not everyone finds it reasonable to go for 1gbps internet for the price it costs them, stopping at 100-200, 500mbps at max for whatever reasons they need it in terms of personal use
