And this is not only one story, we also have no clue how many content the multiplayer part really has beside the amount of characters to select.
It would be so ridiculous easy to just give this information out, but no, they don't and companies don't do anything without a reason. The alarm bells should go off immediately.
So many open questions and people still pre-order it. I will never understand how you can be so careless with your money and send the total wrong signals to publisher who make it more and more worse. I could easily buy it, but in the end, I just can't stand the way companies are treating their customers more and more and think they can get away with near anything, because many simply put up with it. Yeah, there has been an outcry here and there, but these companies don't really care about that, it's just a drop in the ocean. They simply adapt and carry on as before, all to maximize profits, all at the expense of the products and their customers.
I really want to believe in this game, I had a lot of fun in the closed beta and in the network test, but the way the publisher is behaving, they are not making it easy for me, not at all.
They just spent way too much time repeating the same info in six different MP trailers then gave absolutely nothing (outside a basic plot summary).
Given that, due to the extraordinarily limited roster, that's likely the only mode I'm going to be playing (unless you can private room the raids and coop quests and build your own raid groups like Lycoris) it's likely not going to be a day one purchase.
And in a perfect world no one should do that. But because we don't live in a perfect world I will wait and see what players will say. At least for that is the headset very useful, on the normal release day we will already have a lot of information BN don't want to give us, for a reason.
How many characters are planned for dlc 1? If its just 3 I'm happy to wait for 75% off, if its 10 now I can give it some thought
How long is the average playtime of the story mode? Would give us an idea if there is actually story or just another boss rush
How many people played the test? Would let me know if the game even has a chance
It really is concerning they cant even give us a simple no spoiler number for anything
in a few days or so
There are two characters for DLC pack 2: Pitohui and M.
But the price of SAO hit really hard.
Maybe with a discount people will bought the game but actually i don't think it's a good Idea to pay the full price
If you want to buy this because you think its like Relink, you wasting your money.
Only thing in commons between Sword Art Online and Granblue Fantasy is that both games are made by Japanese developers.
The main reason I thought so was the way Bandai Namco promoted the story mode, without really showing anything about it or even giving any info about the length etc. A lot of talking about the background story but that was it.
If that's the case, there is no real reason to buy and play this for the singleplayer alone and instead, just wait for a real sequel to Last Recollection.
but it is confusing with this game
it's been said that it's not part of the gameverse but has scenes from many of the older games in it as unlockable memories.
and in the story some characters are treated as if they are meeting again for the first time after certain events (eugeo and yuuk for example).
well theoretically you could also blame this on the event that the memories of the characters got mixed up.
unfortunately not yet through.
but theoretically, the way it starts, it could easily have been part of the gameverse
as a spinoff that takes place after last recollection.
similar to the case of lost song and accel world vs sao.
ps i find the story mode interesting in itself
or rather the theme
