I only play solo as well and I haven't stopped playing since it came out so you wouldn't miss out on anything as of now
they are making some harder version of the bosses soon, but I'm pretty sure they will have a queue option as well and it will just be harder and with better rewards (the requirements to join them are quite high)
you are forgetting playstation, switch and xbox consoles in this number since the game is crossplay.
How so? We can't even speak to each other via text chat in-game.
All multiplayer modes are competition with other players (even your own party to anextent).
Co-op with friends is possible, but you'd have to be min-maxing a party (characters, build and timing) to do that, so unlike in proper co-op games friend are not a combat advantage.
Granblue Relink is a very similar, but more polished combat experience, but I'd check with others regarding how multiplayer is. So many multiplayer games means most of them die really fast.
EU never goes above 4 - 5 players per session... even in prime time it doesn't go over 10
only ASIA is alive imo.... which sucks
