S Rank & Cutscene Rant
I'm sure it won't happen, but dear god I wish they'd tweak a few of these missions to make getting S Rank easier. Most have been no sweat as long as you kill most of the enemies on the map.
But there's been a few super short missions with very few enemies that I've had to do multiple times because I was barely short of S Rank because the NPCs managed to kill a couple enemies. Resulting in me needing to sweat for kills, or hope I get lucky.
The other big pain being these unoptimized load times for the cut scenes in PC that are more noticeable when waiting to skip. At the very least give us an option to "Skip Cutscenes" and jump straight to the missions when replaying them.
Otherwise the most recent mission I've tried three times now, Side Mission in Chapter 4, Kind Soul, pretty sure I defeated 90%+ of the enemies myself, and I'm still 200 points short. *bangs head on wall*

Anyways, don't expect replies, just wanted to vent to other players a little, unless other people want to rant about any specific missions too. xD

Been on that grind myself, but for almost all story missions, you generally want to have 20,000 score and have not died before tackling the final enemy. Generally mission gives you 20000 for completing mission, plus an additional 10000 if no death of player. The threshold for S rank is a 50000 score. So you can get an idea if you need to do more if under 20000. besides enemies, those terminal challenges also helps with score

Boss raids, an additional tip, avoid doing final blow until score is at 20000. Portals eventuallly respawn at set intervals for more enemies. For some reason, only you can do final blow on raid bosses in story mode (NPCs will never kill it), so wait out for portals

Npc kills count for ur overall score so it dosent matter if they get kills, some S rank boss fights u need to let the npcs farm to get S rank. Best advice is to prolong objectives, if ur low on enemies, run in get a few kills run out they respawn.
