Do we have to build our own base?

Normally in survival games I would build from scratch, but in this case I found a nice garage that I wanted to take over.

I put some stuff in the containers in the garage and went back to spawn house to get more of my things. By the time I came back, everything reset in the garage and everything that I put in those containers is gone.

I had also build a workbench and placed a bag down - both of those were still there though.

Anyone know anything on this?

I forget what the logic is at this point on the poi storage. When I was playing I had put a utility box thing down and poi storage seemed to hold my stuff for the most part. Think I also built storage boxes.

I'm testing that theory now with the utility storage as well - even though it itself seems to have limitless storage which is pretty neat.

This is a known issue that should be fixed in the next patch. Using crafted storage boxes is the solution to keep your things from disappearing.

Thanks for this. Ya my test failed and the item was replaced. Im just using the util cupboard for all storage for now, works pretty well.

Yea but I wanna put a spoon in the kitchen drawer not next to my ratchet lol. Helps with ocd. Hopefully fixed soon.

SP or MP, normal branch or beta? Beta single player is fine, multiplayer, no. in MP everything respawns a lot.

Normal branch, but im just using the UC for now - kinda like it in a way :)
