Crafting?

Every time I try to craft in the workbench the spot to pin stuffs ui blocks the actual crafting area ui. Is there a fix to this or is it just bugged. Thanks in advance.

I'd have to see a screenshot or vid. Mean time, crafting cooking pretty much the same, open workbench, list on left, white can craft, gray no. Click name, ingredients drop down, click those they populate the UI, hover over each thing to double check its name, click craft.
