tv broke in game?

i found the tv and the night of the living dead disc but wen i start it i can only hear it and not see it my buddy can see and hear it fine ive tried everything any suggestions

It depends on the TV and if they're in the room or not when it comes on. Me and a friend watched it in entirety but had to try a few TV's first.

I tried a few tv's and am playing solo on my own server and it's always black screen
