What is with the dirtiness?
ya struggle to get washed up by pouring water in a sink, then walk across the room and your 30% dirty again....lol. We need a full washtub or makeshift shower build.

Wash them using a washing machine. Sometimes there is also a dryer, use that too after washing.

Dirtiness seems to apply to everything in your inventory even if it doesn't say so, not just clothes, I had the same issue after cleaning and drying clothes and threw my weapons and anything else i had on me in the washer. leave them there for awhile, they cant get wet so no need to dry and problem solved.
Dirtiness is a serious problem in the Apocalypse, moreover one that AFAIK has only ever been addressed in this game and in the TV series 'Z Nation' (which is seriously good, BTW)
It's great to see it actually having an effect in the game too, making scratches more likely to get infected the dirtier you are. Great add.
However - why don't either the bathtubs get filled up or showers actually work when the water and power is still on?
A Hot shower ought to be a thing all the time you have both water & power

I specifically chose a base once with a washer + dryer & even when they function the dryer takes SO long to dry clothes, like DAYS I ended up just putting all my clothes on damp.
Anyone know how to use washer after water cut off or how to clean clothes after water cut off?
You can go to the pool at bowden park or get down to the river.. you won't see a popup on the ui but, if you stand in front of the pool/river and go into your clothing inventory you should see an option under the clothing item that says wash from water..BTW, it will only clean them to 40%
My base is at Bowen Hill and so water supply isn't an issue. I boil up some pool water & wash the clothes in the large sink. Weirdly, I have not seen an increase in dirtiness beyond 20% for a week now. Must be the chlorine in the pool water?
